A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between Youth Upskill Network (YUNet) and Youth Hub Malaysia to jointly work on youth skill development and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The signing ceremony was held on Saturday, 10 January, at the Youth Hub Malaysia office in Kuala Lumpur.
Under this agreement, both organizations will jointly implement activities aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, using their respective experience and capabilities to support youth development.

The MoU was signed on behalf of Youth Upskill Network (YUNet) by its Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Md Altamis Nabil, and on behalf of Youth Hub by its Co-Founder, Pavel Sarwar.

As per the agreement, both organizations will jointly conduct institutional capacity-building and training programs. Special emphasis will be given to soft skills, STEAM education, IoT, and Fourth Industrial Revolution skills to raise awareness and enhance capabilities among young people and entrepreneurs.
As part of the partnership, initiatives will be taken to teach the basics of coding, encourage students to develop an interest in computer education from school level, and strengthen their programming skills.
In addition, the organizations plan to arrange national and international awareness programs, workshops, education and certification activities, and technology-based hackathons involving children and adolescents.

Youth Upskill Network (YUNet) is a Bangladesh-based global platform working to empower young people through targeted skill development, leadership development, and international networking. Youth Hub, on the other hand, is a global youth-led organization actively working in technology education, wellness, gender equality, social innovation, entrepreneurship development, and community development.

Youth Hub proudly took part in the “Mainstreaming the Third Sector as Partners in Implementing RMK13 & ASEAN SDG-SSE Roadmap Workshop.” The event marked a pivotal moment in Malaysia’s journey toward inclusive and sustainable national development, as envisioned under the 13th Malaysia Plan (RMK13).

The workshop brought together diverse stakeholders — including representatives from civil society organizations, government agencies, academia, and the corporate sector — to engage in insightful discussions and formulate actionable strategies that strengthen the role of the Third Sector in driving Malaysia’s development agenda.

It was a truly meaningful and constructive platform for collaboration, where ideas converged around the shared vision of an inclusive, equitable, and resilient Malaysia.
